Hello! We are Qlippy. A small band of creators, makers, hackers, and helpers who have come together to make using a smartphone a little more convenient.

Having spent years designing and building mobile apps for emerging technologies, we came to the realization that many new digital experiences require a setup. Whether you are using a phone as a dashboard, creating content, or using a specialized app to analyze your actions, there is probably some kind of setup that is required. The possibility for mobile apps to help us learn, see, analyze, and understand is exploding, yet we are still left holding the device in our hand, or doing the dreaded balancing act to go truly hands free.

For us, it started while learning to play golf. We just needed a simple way to mount a phone to make videos of our swing while practicing. It seemed so simple, there had to be a product out there that was lightweight, easily adjustable, and flexible enough to serve multiple functions. But... we couldn't find one. We didn’t want to carry a tripod, we didn’t want to remember to pack it, and we didn’t want pay a small fortune for it. What we wanted was something we could put in the bag and leave it there, so we would always be prepared when inspiration struck. Something versatile that could attach to our bag, or anything for that matter, and enable us to turn anything into a mobile phone stand. We quickly realized that there were so many uses beyond golf. The idea of mounting your phone is not new, most of us do it in our cars everyday. Why not have that level of convenience in everything we do? So, Qlippy was born out of our desire to compliment and enable new digital experiences.

Our mission: Support anyone who is passionate about creating, learning, and improving. We truly believe in the power of setup. A proper setup can go a long way no matter what you are doing, or where you are doing it.
